اسلام آباد (نمائندہ خصوصی)ڈسٹرکٹ اینڈ سیشن کورٹ نے پولیس اہلکاروں کی فائرنگ سے جاں بحق ہونے والے نوجوان اسامہ ستی کے قتل کیس میں نامزد 2 ملزمان کو سزائے موت اور 3 کو عمر قید کی سزا سنا دی۔
پیر کو ڈسٹرکٹ اینڈ سیشن کورٹ اسلام آباد میں ایڈیشنل سیشن جج زیبا چوہدری نے اسامہ ستی قتل کیس کا محفوظ فیصلہ پڑھ کر سنایا۔ملزمان افتخار احمد ،سعیداحمد ،شکیل احمد اور محمد مصطفیٰ کو ہتھکڑیوں میں عدالت پیش کیا گیا، فیصلہ سنائے جانے سے قبل عدالت کے حکم پر تمام میڈیا نمائندگان اور غیر متعلقہ افراد کو کمرہ عدالت سے باہر نکال دیا گیا۔
عدالت نے اپنے فیصلے میں افتخار احمد اور محمد مصطفی کو سزائے موت کی سزا سنائی جبکہ سعید احمد ، شکیل احمد ذقر مدثر مختار کو عمر قید کی سزا سنائی ۔خیال رہے کہ اسامہ ستی قتل کیس میں سزا پانے والے تمام پولیس اہلکاروں کا تعلق محکمہ انسدادِ دہشت گردی (سی ٹی ڈی) سے ہے۔یاد رہے کہ 2 جنوری 2021 کو اے ٹی ایس پولیس اہلکاروں کی فائرنگ سے 22 سالہ نوجوان اسامہ ستی جاں بحق ہوگیا تھا جس کے بعد پولیس نے والد کی مدعیت میں مقدمہ درج کرکے 5 اہلکاروں کو حراست میں لے لیا تھا۔
اس ضمن میں ترجمان اسلام آباد پولیس نے بتایا تھا کہ پولیس کو رات کو کال موصول ہوئی کہ گاڑی میں سوار ڈاکو شمس کالونی کے علاقہ میں ڈکیتی کی کوشش کررہے ہیں جس کے بعد علاقہ میں گشت پر معمور اے ٹی ایس پولیس اہلکاروں نے مشکوک گاڑی کا جیـ10 تک گاڑی کا تعاقب کیا، تاہم اس کے نہ رکنے پر گاڑی کے ٹائروں پر فائر کیے جس میں سے 2 فائر گاڑی کے ڈرائیور کو لگ گئے اور اس کی موت واقع ہوگئی۔دوسری جانب نوجوان کے قتل کا مقدمہ والد کی مدعیت میں تھانہ رمنا میں درج کرلیا گیاجس میں دفعہ 302 (قتل) کے ساتھ ساتھ انسداد دہشت گردی ایکٹ (اے ٹی اے) کی دفعہ 7 بھی لگائی گئی۔مذکورہ مقدمے میں مدثر اقبال، شکیل احمد، محمد مصطفی، سعید احمد اور افتخار احمد نامی اہلکاروں کو نامزد کیا گیا۔
نوجوان کے والد ندیم یونس ستی نے مقدمے میں مؤقف اپنایا تھاکہ میرا جواں سالہ بیٹا اسامہ ندیم ستی میرے ساتھ جیـ10 مرکز میں کاروبار کرتا تھا اور وہ 2 جنوری کی رات تقریباً 2 بجے اپنے دوست کو ایچـ11 نزد نسٹ یونیورسٹی چھوڑنے گیا تھا تو مدثر مختار، شکیل احمد، سعید احمد، محمد مصطفیٰ اور افتخار احمد نامی پولیس اہلکاروں جن سے ایک دن قبل میرے بیٹے کی تلخ کلامی اور جھگڑا ہوا تھا، جس کا ذکر میرے بیٹے نے مجھ سے کیا تھا۔والد نے ایف آئی آر میں مؤقف اپنایا کہ اسلام آباد پولیس کے ان ملازمین نے میرے بیٹے کو دھمکی دی تھی کہ تمہیں مزہ چکھائیں گے۔
انہوں نے کہا پولیس اہلکاروں نے مرکزی شاہراہ پر گاڑی پر 17 گولیاں چاروں اطراف سے چلائیں جس سے میرے بیٹے کی جان چلی گئی۔8 جنوری 2021 کو سینئر سپرنٹنڈنٹ پولیس (ایس ایس پی) اسلام آباد نے اسامہ ستی قتل کیس میں ملوث پانچوں اہلکاروں (سب انسپکٹر افتخار، کانسٹبل مصطفیٰ، شکیل، مدثر اور سعید) کو برطرف کردیا تھا۔ایڈیشنل سیشن جج زیبا چوہدری نے اسامہ ستی کیس کے ٹرائل میں حتمی دلائل سننے کے بعد 31 جنوری 2023 کو فیصلہ محفوظ کرلیا تھا جوپیر کو سنا دیا گیا۔
