کراچی (کامرس ڈیسک)پاک سوزوکی موٹر کمپنی لمیٹڈ نے موٹرسائیکل اور کار کا پروڈکشن پلانٹ 2 تا 9 مئی کے دوران بند کرنے کا اعلان کردیا اور اس کی وجہ انوینٹری کی قلت بتائی ہے۔

میڈیا رپورٹ کے مطابق آٹو اسمبلر نے اسٹاک فائلنگ میں بتایا کہ اگست 2022 سے پروڈکشن 30 دن سے زائد معطل رہی، اس کی وجہ اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کی جانب سے درآمدات بشمول سی کے ڈی کیلئے پیشگی اجازت لینے کی پابندی کے سبب بندرگاہ سے کنسائمنٹس کی کلیئرنس شدید متاثر ہوئی اور پارٹس کی قلت ہو گئی۔پاک سوزوکی موٹر کمپنی لمیٹڈ کی فروخت جنوری سے مارچ کے دوران گر کر 22 ارب روپے ہو گئی جو گزشتہ برس اسی عرصے کے دوران 47 ارب روپے ریکارڈ کی گئی تھی، کمپنی کو سہ ماہی بنیادوں پر تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا 13 ارب روپے کا نقصان اٹھانا پڑا جبکہ گزشتہ برس اسی عرصے میں 46 کروڑ روپے کا خسارہ ہوا تھا۔

خیال رہے کہ 13 اپریل کو ہونڈا اٹلس کار پاکستان لمیٹڈ نے رواں مالی سال میں اپنے طویل ترین پلانٹ کی بندش میں 15 دن کی توسیع کا اعلان کیا تھا اور اس کی وجہ ملک کے معاشی بحران، درآمدات کے لیے لیٹرز آف کریڈٹ (ایل سیز) اور غیر ملکی ادائیگیاں روکنے کو قرار دیا ہے۔کمپنی نے 8 مارچ کو ابتدائی طور پر 23 دن کیلئے پلانٹ کی بندش کا اعلان کیا تھا، جسے 31 مارچ تک ختم ہونے کی توقع تھی لیکن اس کے بعد پلانٹ بند کرنے میں 15 اپریل تک توسیع کر دی تھی۔ہونڈا کے مطابق پاکستان کی معاشی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے حکومت کے سخت اقدامات نے کمپنی کی سپلائی چین کو شدید طور پر متاثر کیا ہے۔

پاکستان اسٹاک ایکسچینج کو نوٹس میں جاپان کے ہونڈا موٹر کمپنی لمیٹڈ کے یونٹ نے بتایا کہ نتیجتا کمپنی اس پوزیشن میں نہیں ہے کہ پیداوار کو جاری رکھے اور پلانٹ کو 16 اپریل 2023 سے 30 اپریل 2023 تک بند رکھے گی۔ملک میں کار کے دیگر اسمبلرز جیسا کہ انڈس موٹر کمپنی لمیٹڈ اور پاک سوزوکی موٹر کمپنی نے بھی پاکستان کی معاشی مشکلات کی وجہ سے گزشتہ مالی سال کے دوران پلانٹ بند کرنے پر مجبور ہوئیں، جس کی وجہ سے مرکزی بینک کے زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر کا گرنا تھا جس سے بمشکل ایک مہینے کی درآمدات ہو سکتی تھی۔
