اسلام آباد(کورٹ رپورٹر) الیکشن کمیشن نے توہین الیکشن کمیشن کیس میں چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل کی درخواست منظور کرتے ہوئے کیس کی سماعت 2 اگست تک ملتوی کردی۔
چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی، فواد چودھری اور اسد عمر کے خلاف توہین الیکشن کمشنر اور الیکشن کمیشن کیس میں ممبر الیکشن کمیشن نثار درانی کی سربراہی میں 4 رکنی بنچ نے سماعت کی۔
دوران سماعت رکن الیکشن کمیشن اکرام اللّٰہ خان نے پولیس حکام سے استفسار کیا کہ چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وارنٹ گرفتاری وکیل کو کیوں دئیے؟ کیا آپ کو وارنٹ گرفتاری کی تعمیل کا طریقہ معلوم نہیں؟ چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے علاوہ کسی اور کو وارنٹ کیوں دئیے؟
سماعت کے دوران فواد چودھری اور چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل شعیب شاہین الیکشن کمیشن میں پیش ہو گئے۔شعیب شاہین نے الیکشن کمیشن کو بتایا کہ چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے 5 کیسز ہائی کورٹ میں ہیں، جیسے ہی وہ فری ہوتے ہیں پیش ہو جائیں گے۔
فواد چودھری نے مؤقف اختیار کیا کہ ان کا وہی مؤقف ہے جو دوسرے کیس میں تھا، رکن الیکشن کمیشن نے فواد چودھری سے کہا کہ آپ اپنا جواب جمع کرا دیں، کیس کی سماعت 2 اگست کو رکھتے ہیں۔
چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل شعیب شاہین نے کہا کہ ہمیں گزشتہ آرڈر ابھی تک نہیں ملا، الیکشن کمیشن نے کہا تھا کہ ہمیں کاپی دیں گے، آپ نے اپنا وعدہ پورا نہیں کیا، جیسے ہی ہائی کورٹ سے چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی فارغ ہوتے ہیں پیش ہو جائیں گے، آپ کیس کی سماعت ملتوی کر دیں۔
ممبر الیکشن کمیشن نے کہا کہ ہم سماعت میں وقفہ کر لیتے ہیں، ملاقات بھی ہو جائے گی جس کے بعد چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے خلاف توہین الیکشن کمیشن کیس کی سماعت میں وقفہ کر دیا گیا۔
الیکشن کمیشن میں توہین الیکشن کمیشن اور چیف الیکشن کمشنر کیس کی سماعت وقفے کے بعد شروع ہوئی تو چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی پیش ہو گئے۔
اس موقع پر سماعت کے کمرے میں کنڈی لگا دی گئی اور غیر متعلقہ افراد کو داخل ہونے سے روک دیا گیا، کمرۂ عدالت میں وکلاء نے چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کو گھیر لیا، وکیل فیصل چودھری نے ان سے گفتگو کی۔
چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل شعیب شاہین نے کمیشن کے روبرو کہا کہ ہم حاضر ہو گئے ہیں، ہمیں آرڈر کی کاپی نہیں ملی، میرے پاس ریکارڈ پورا نہیں، پہلے دوسرے وکیل تھے اب میں وکیل ہوں۔
ممبر الیکشن کمیشن نے کہا کہ دستاویز کے لیے ہدایات دے دیتے ہیں، آئندہ آپ لاء ونگ سے رابطہ کریں۔چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کے وکیل شعیب شاہین نے استدعا کی کہ سماعت ستمبر تک ملتوی کر دیں، ہمارا ایک ہی مہینہ چھٹی کا ہوتا ہے، آپ نے ذاتی پیشی کا کہا ہم پیش ہو گئے ہیں۔
ممبر الیکشن کمیشن نے کہا کہ 2 اگست کو باقی کیسز کی سماعت ہے ان کے ساتھ ہی سماعت کر لیں گے جس کے بعد الیکشن کمیشن نے کیس کی سماعت 2 اگست تک ملتوی کر دی۔
