مزید تحقیقات اور حقائق تک پہنچنے کے لیے پولیس نے عدالت سے ملزم ڈرائیور کا 2 روزہ جسمانی ریمانڈ لے لیا ہے۔ذرائع نے بتایا کہ پولیس رپورٹ کے مطابق 15 اپریل 8 بج کر 25 منٹ پر مولانا عبدالشکور کی گاڑی کو ڈبل کیبن گاڑی نے ہٹ کیا، گاڑی کی تیز رفتاری کے باعث ڈرائیور گاڑی کو بر وقت روک نہ سکا
پولیس رپورٹ میں بتایا گیا کہ پچھلی سیٹوں پر بیٹھے ظاہر محمد شاہ اور رضوان زیرِ علاج ہیں، گاڑی رائو گل خان چلا رہا تھا جبکہ ارشد خان فرنٹ سیٹ پر بیٹھا تھا۔پولیس رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ڈبل کیبن گاڑی میں سوار غلام شبیر اور ارشد خان کو تھانے میں رکھا گیا ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ 15 اپریل کو وفاقی وزیر مفتی عبدالشکور اپنی گاڑی میں اسلام آباد کے میریٹ ہوٹل سے سیکریٹریٹ چوک جا رہے تھے کہ تیز رفتار ڈبل کیبن گاڑی نے ان کی گاڑی کو ٹکر مار دی۔سر پر چوٹ آنے سے مفتی عبدالشکور موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہو گئے تھے۔گزشتہ روز مرحوم مفتی عبدالشکور کو ان کے آبائی علاقے لکی مروت میں سپردِ خاک کر دیا گیا۔
