رپورٹ کے مطابق ایڈیشنل ڈسٹرکٹ اینڈ سیشن جج عرفان اکرم نے توہین رسالت کیس کا اہم فیصلہ سنایا۔اپنے فیصلے میں عدالت نے کہا کہ یہ انتہائی گھناونا اور ناقابل معافی جرم ہے، اس طرح کے جرم کا ارتکاب کرنے والے مجرم کو کسی قسم کی رعایت نہیں دی جاسکتی۔
عدالتی فیصلہ سنائے جانے کے بعد مجرم ملک عارف کو اڈیالہ جیل راولپنڈی منتقل کر دیا گیا۔مجرم کے خلاف تھانہ سول لائن نے 4 ستمبر 2024 کو گھنانے فعل کا مقدمہ درج کیا تھا۔
