سابق وزیر داخلہ شیخ رشید احمد اپنے وکیل سردار شہباز کے ہمراہ عدالت میں پیش ہو ئےتوانہیں حاضری لگا کر جانے کی اجازت مل گئی،عدالت نے مقدمات کی سماعت 29 اگست تک ملتوی کردی واضح رہے کہ نو مئی کے 11 مقدمات راولپنڈی کے مختلف تھانوں میں درج ہیں،ان مقدمات میں بانی پی ٹی آئی ،شاہ محمود قریشی،اورعلی امین گنڈاپور سمیت پی ٹی آئی کی مرکزی قیادت اور پانچ سو سے زائد کارکن نامزد ہیں۔
در یں اثنا سابق وفاقی وزیر شیخ رشید احمد نے کہا ہے کہ بے گناہ لوگ جیلوں میں قید ہیں، بس اب آسمان کے ایک خدا کی طرف دیکھ رہے ہیں۔راولپنڈی میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے شیخ رشید احمد کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کا بھتیجا بے گناہ ہے جسے 60 سال قید کی سزا سنائی گئی، جبکہ وہ خود بیرون ملک تھے اور اسی دوران یہ سارا معاملہ پیش آیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک میں مہنگائی، بے روزگاری اور غربت سمیت ملکی حالات سب کے سامنے ہیں۔شیخ رشید احمد کا کہنا تھا کہ میں اب زمینی خداں کی طرف نہیں، آسمان کے ایک خدا کی طرف دیکھ رہا ہوں، آسمان والا ہی ہمارے اوپر رحم کرے گا اور وہی انصاف کرے گا۔
